Free online archaeology event to unearth the secrets of Coleshill's Medieval manor house

The latest developments and discoveries at Coleshill in Warwickshire will be the focus of a free webinar this Thursday, 28 January, from 11.30am-12.15pm.

We would like to invite you to join us and the team from Wessex Archaeology for this online event to find out about the latest developments on the ongoing excavations at Coleshill, focusing on the Medieval moated manor house and its ornamental Elizabethan gardens.

This is the second instalment of our series on the Coleshill Manor site. The first webinar took place in November 2020 and is available to watch now: HS2 In Focus: Archaeology - Uncovering the Medieval manor house in Coleshill, November 2020 webinar

Our team will discuss new finds, including artefacts, garden features and building remains and also highlight how these are helping us to build a greater picture of the manor house. You will be able to ask the team questions via a live Q&A chat option and pre-submit questions when you register.

We also recommend that you watch our previous webinars on the Coleshill site, so that you are up to date on our work so far:

We will be publishing a video recording of the session online, so if you are unable to attend the event, you will still be able to learn about what has been unearthed so far through a dedicated playlist on the HS2 YouTube channel.
