HS2 Community Funds award £43,000 to Water Orton and District Tennis Club

A new project has been awarded funding in Warwickshire as part of the HS2 Community and Business Funds.

Water Orton & District Tennis Club receives £43,000

Founded in 2010, Water Orton & District Tennis Club has 120 members and strong links with the community, with an emphasis on being a family club and working closely with local schools.

The funding will be used to resurface the tennis courts and installs low illuminate floodlighting, enabling evening play throughout the year. This will help the club to keep up with community demand and offer more opportunities for local residents.

HS2 Community and Business Funds

The community and business funds are administered and managed by independent community charity, Groundwork UK.
