News on HS2 in Warwickshire

We are remodelling and improving sections of the existing road network in the area, and constructing new routes on HS2 land, which will connect to four new highway bridges. These road improvements will ensure that when the future HS2 Interchange Station is operational, the local road network is fit for purpose .

On Friday 15 January , we informed you that we would carry out a temporary weekend closure along a short section of the B4438 from 8pm on Friday 29 January, to 5am on Monday 1 February.

However, due to adverse weather conditions forecast for this weekend, this temporary weekend closure will now be carried out on the following dates:

Our contractors may be on site up to an hour before and after those times to set up and close down the site. If work progresses faster than expected, we will reopen the B4438 earlier if possible.

A signed diversion route will be in place for drivers throughout the closure.
