News on HS2 in Warwickshire

We are carrying out junction improvement works on the A446 Lichfield Road, between Water Orton and Coleshill at the entrance to Severn Trent treatment plant.

From Monday 30 November to Friday 18 December (subject to weather and site conditions), temporary traffic lights will be located on the southbound A446. The lights will only be in operation when construction traffic needs to enter and exit the site area, which will ensure traffic disruption is kept to a minimum.

HS2 and the COVID-19 outbreak

As previously announced, HS2 has taken the decision to postpone all face-to-face engagement events and meetings due to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, we remain committed to being a good neighbour to anyone affected by our work, and have continued to notify local residents about any activities in their area through alternative methods of communication. This includes direct mail, such as the latest newsletters, which we have sent in the post to local residents that are impacted by our works.
