HS2 works notification: Archaeology works in Southam and Windmill Hill starting mid-March until Summer 2020

As part of our preparatory works our construction partner, Fusion, will be carrying out archaeology works. Geophysical surveys will be carried out to identify areas of possible archaeological interest.

    We’re creating new wildlife habitats from February and during spring

    As part of preparing sites for the construction of HS2 we are undertaking a major conservation project to create a green corridor alongside the route of HS2.

    This green corridor will include a network of habitats ranging from Woodlands, meadows, wetlands and ponds.

    HS2 Works Notification: Extension of temporary traffic lights near Coleshill, Water Orton and Kingsbury

    Early works for HS2 are carried out by a joint venture between Laing O’Rourke and Murphy & Sons known as LM.

    We want to update you on extensions to some of our traffic management measures near Coleshill, Water Orton and Kingsbury. These have been installed to facilitate vegetation clearance alongside some roadways. Due to site and weather conditions we need to extend our presence in these areas to complete our vegetation clearance activity.

    We have been operating temporary traffic lights along Birmingham Road, Coleshill , since 27 January. These works are now due to finish during the week of 17 February. An updated notification can be found here Birmingham Road .

    We have also been operating temporary traffic lights along the A4097 Kingsbury Road since 13 January. These works are now due to finish during the week of 17 February. Please find the updated notification here Kingsbury Works .
