News on HS2 in Warwickshire

Coleshill works

Gas utilities company, Cadent, is moving underground gas pipelines in the Coleshill area to allow for the construction of the new railway and to continue to ensure a safe and reliable gas supply.

Works to move one of the pipelines will begin in March in the Coleshill area and are expected to be completed by October 2020. More details available on the updated notifications can be found below:

These works will include the temporary closure of the foot and cycle path that runs from the A446 Lichfield Road between Bromwich Court and Auria Solutions. You can find more details about the closure here .

Kenilworth works

To facilitate HS2’s construction and to continue to ensure a safe and reliable gas supply, Cadent need to move an existing gas pipeline south of Dalehouse Lane, Kenilworth.

We will be starting main work to move this pipeline in April 2020 and expect our work to be completed by the end of 2020. More work notification details are available here.
