HS2 Works Notification: notice of road closure on Gilson Road

Balfour Beatty Vinci, (BBV), is working on behalf of HS2 Ltd to build the new high-speed railway in your area.

In February, we notified you of road closures on Gilson Road. Unfortunately, the works were unable to take place in February and have been rearranged for 23 & 24 March.

We will be working in 2 locations on Gilson Road. During the 23 and 24 March, BBV will have lane closures and road closures in place. This traffic management will enable our contractors to remove vegetation and create an access points for our test piling compounds. Access to frontages along Gilson Road will be maintained.

Once this initial work is complete, we will set up a satellite compound and a temporary piling platform, which will enable the test piling to take place. We expect to be in this area for a further 6 months.

The notification is available here to read Gilson Road .
