Early works to construct the new railway, is carried out by a joint venture between Laing O’Rourke and J. Murphy &amp; Sons, known as LM.From 27 January, LM will be working near the Water Orton Road and the M6 to carry out vegetation clearance and erect some fencing. To ensure safe access along the motorway, LM will be closing a section of the hard shoulder along the M6 southbound after junction 5. The closure will be in place from 09:30 am to 15:30 pm during week days.
