News on HS2 in Warwickshire

Early works to construct the new railway, is carried out by a joint venture between Laing O’Rourke and J. Murphy & Sons, known as LM.

From 27 January, LM will be working near Coleshill to carry out vegetation and hedgerow clearance alongside construction fencing. To ensure safe access to the clearance sites alongside Birmingham Road, near the M6 Toll, LM will install temporary traffic lights.

These traffic lights will operate from 09:30 am to 15:30 pm on week days, for two weeks and will lead to a single lane closure on Birmingham Road.
