News on HS2 in Warwickshire

As a result of upcoming HS2 works in the Kenilworth area there are two road closures which will be affecting access to Cryfield Grange Road and Bockendon Road.

In both cases, clearly signed local diversion routes will be in place and access will be maintained for households and businesses along the closed roads.

We will be closing Cryfield Grange Road from Crackley Lane to Last Farm from 23 September 2019 until January 2020. This will allow works to be carried out safely when clearing vegetation along the side of the road to create two access points into worksites for HS2, in preparation for further enabling works in the area.

Cryfield Grange Road will be closed Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:30am to 3:30pm, with the road re-opening each day, once the site has been demobilised.

Bockendon Road will be closed during the day, Monday - Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm from Westwood Heath Road Junction to Crackley Lane on 30 September 2019 until June 2020. This is to allow works to be carried out safely whilst creating an access point for a HS2 worksite.
