News on HS2 in Warwickshire

Early works for HS2 are carried out by LM – a joint venture between Laing O’Rourke and J. Murphy & Sons.

LM will be using two-way traffic lights on Ashow Road, in the Ashow and Kenilworth area, to create a safe zone for accessing an HS2 work site between the B4115 and the A46.

The traffic lights will be in place in this area from Monday 3 February , 8:00 am-5:00 pm for up to two weeks (subject to site and weather conditions), until a new access point is formed by LM.

Ashow Road will remain open – with traffic signals guiding cars and lorries through this section of the road. The lights will be in operation during our working hours, and will be lifted from the road when we’re not at work.

Lights and signs in this area will help LM enter and exit the access point, coloured orange on the map above.
