HS2 Works Notification: Update to Cadent pipeline diversion works near Water Orton

We previously informed you, of Cadent's gas works in north Warwickshire. These works included the moving of underground gas pipelines in the Coleshill area to allow for the construction of the new railway. Cadent have updated their works notification, it outlines the next phase of their works and how long these will take.

The map below shows the location of their works.

The work involves:

Digging trenches for the new pipeline route in land south of Water Orton

Removing some vegetation and trees so Cadent can access parts of the diversion. As with all our work, we will only do this where necessary and with the required permits

Welding the pipe together then installing it in the trench

Connecting and testing the new pipe

There will be 24-hour security on site.
