News on HS2 in Warwickshire

We have two notices about works taking place in Warwickshire:

- The first set of works is being carried out by our Enabling Works Contractor - LM a joint venture between Laing O'Rourke and J Murphy and Sons, who have started site preparation works between Curdworth and Middleton. These works include building fences, setting up site compounds and vegetation removal.

We will be continuing these works over several weeks. You can find full details of the works in the notification .

- The second set of works is being done by Cadent, they will be continuing their work to help with the preparations for building the railway and ensuring a safe and reliable gas supply. The next part of the works will include constructing a shaft off Gypsy Lane, which will allow us to use a tunnel boring machine at a later date.

There will be a road closure in place while we carry out these works and full details are available in our latest notice .
