News on HS2 in Warwickshire

In early 2021, Balfour Beatty VINCI sent out a notification to outline works we were completing on the Network Rail track to install lineside protection. This lineside protection enables us to create a safe environment for our construction workers and users of the existing rail network, whilst we construct HS2.

The second phase of this work is now due to commence, starting Saturday 14 August. We will then continue working for three weekends up until 5 September.

To complete this work, we will enter the working area through the existing Network Rail access point close to Lea Marston. We will also utilise an access gate at Newlands Farm, however this will only be used by passenger vehicles.
