News on HS2 in Warwickshire

Preparations for main construction work on HS2 are now well underway. To continue with this work, we will be undertaking ground investigation surveys within various locations in land situated off Attleboro Lane, Water Orton. These surveys help us to understand more about the ground conditions where we want to build the railway. The surveys will involve taking soil samples and boring trial holes in different locations. To complete our survey works, we will transport drilling rigs to site by trailer. Drilling rigs will then be positioned on site and our workforce will travel to site every day by a 4x4 vehicle.

Works are scheduled to start 19 April and will be working in the area for 4 weeks.
