News on HS2 in Warwickshire

From late May we'll be carrying out preparation works for utilities diversions in near Water Orton and Middleton.

We'll be working by Watton Lane in Water Orton to carry out some vegetation clearance. It's important that we do this work as it means that later on we'll be able to safely divert two gas pipelines. Before we begin working we'll carry out ecological surveys and an ecologist will be on site while we carry out the clearance. Full details are available on the notification .

Our second piece of work is near Middleton where we'll be working between Church Lane and the A4091. We'll start by setting up our work compound, which will enable to carry out the gas pipeline diversion safely. The entrance to the site will use the existing layby of the A4091, which means construction vehicles won't need to travel through Middleton. There will be signage up as the layby will be closed to other road users.
